Knox Mountain Park

Knox Mountain Park is located near Downtown Kelowna. Notably the most popular hike in Kelowna, this hike features relatively flat trails along the water as well as trails spanning up the mountain to the viewpoint overlooking all of Kelowna including Okanagan Lake. Knox Mountain also features trails for mountain biking and a paved road that travels to the top incase you want to skip the hike and simply enjoy the view.

Pincushion Mountain

Pincushion Mountain located in Peachland is a moderately challenging hike however the view at the top will make you forget about your recent struggles up the mountain. At the top of Pincushion Mountain, you’ll find a picnic table you can rest at and a Canadian flag with Okanagan Lake in the background, making it the perfect backdrop for a photo!

Carrot Mountain

Carrot Mountain is not for the faint-hearted as this hike is relatively steep and time consuming. The trail is grown over with vegetation however it is simply spectacular. Approximately halfway up in the spring during run off season you’ll find a very small waterfall, perfect for cooling off. At the top the view is breathtaking, with a panoramic view of the entire city. Carrot Mountain is accessible through Shannon Lake in West Kelowna

Myra Canyon Trestles

Myra Canyon station is located approximately 40 minutes from downtown Kelowna where you will find a large parking lot where you can leave your car. Here you can decide to hike on foot, rent a bike, bring a bike, or get a guided tour with Myra Canyon Bike Rental & Tours, along the Kettle Valley Railway that extends beside the canyon. The hike along the trestles, built at the turn of the last century will guide you through 2 tunnels and on 18 trestle bridges.
